Our wine partner Casa Gheller traces its name to the family home among the hills of Valdobbiadene. Its range includes Prosecco, sparkling wines and frizzanti, with different styles for the first toast and the meal that follows. The winery describes its Treviso Prosecco DOC Brut as dry and fresh, with apple and floral notes, and recommends it with shellfish. On Curaçao, that suggestion hardly needs translating.
Casa Gheller is represented locally by Tip Top Leáñez. That local connection matters: a bottle from the hills of northern Italy still has to find its way to a real Curaçao table.
